Cabin Six Overview

Cabin Six

A small quaint cabin with a Dutch-door. Three steps up to the deck that features a charming little bench looking out on the campground and from which you can usually see the farm menagerie out and about.

The Interior in Summer

This cabin is quiet and dark, unless you open up the window shades and the top of the door making it cool in summer. You’ll have a mini-fridge, an electric kettle, bedside tables and lamps. A slightly smaller cozy cabin, the table and chairs are on the outside. Take a look at those maps on the wall!

The Interior in Cooler Seasons - Infrared Sauna

During the cool-weather season, (October - May) we turn Cabin Six into a 3-person Infrared Sauna. The sauna is available to all guests at no additional cost.

If you suffer with rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, or chronic fatigue syndrome, the benefits of this sauna are a reduction in pain, fatigue, stiffness and anxiety. This intense relaxation exposure is heightened by the colour-therapy lights which can be used to treat seasonal affective disorder.

If you desire music or video to enhance the experience, you are invited to bring your own. Plug ins are available in the cabin. Donations are welcome for use of the sauna.

Close to the Farm

The Paddle Shack is next to Cabin Six and beyond that is the farm with all its free-range ducks, chickens, and of course, Jellybean the Hog and Penelope and Walter, the geese. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the farm instead of the traffic, horns and sirens of the city. So peaceful… You have a captivating fire bowl and a rustic spool table and chairs by the deck.
